There are little things you can do starting today, from wherever you are, to set yourself on the path and become a leader others will respect and follow.
What is an actual Network Marketing Leader?
It may not be what you think but in my opinion, here is the definition of a Network Marketing Leader. They are someone who creates leaders, not followers. They are someone who strives to get their teammates up on stage. They are someone willing to give credit to others if it helps them in accomplishing their goals of getting teammates transformed into leaders. They only define themselves by the performance of their team, not their own performance as they know that is short lived and is NOT the true essence of the network marketing industry. A Network Marketing Leader, with intense focus over a period of 18-36 months, should have the ability to create a lifelong residual income because they have created enough leaders to sustain it. A Network Marketing Leader may NOT be considered a guru, superstar or hotshot but known as a great teacher, trainer and coach.
How to Create Network Marketing Leaders Among Your Team with these 5 Ways!
Network Marketing Leaders are not chosen but they will Rise! This statement is something I always follow as the people who wants it bad enough and their Why is big enough are the people who will step up or you see them move faster than others with their performance. Those are the people who deserves your time and to help them develop and transform into leaders in your team. They are the ones that you MUST pour into them knowledge and enhance their skills.
These 5 Ways to Create Leadership Among Your Team are exactly what I use when I see a team member rise to the occasion and eagerly wants to take his business to the next level. So the 5 P’s of Leadership are essential if you are a leader already, working on becoming one or you are keen to help people from your team to become leaders.
1) Posture
You have to be confident and not arrogant. Arrogance is when you think that you are better than somebody else. Confidence is when you understand that nobody is better than you. Being confident about where you are going is a great trait of a Leader! Leaders have Posture when they use their skills and during their performances on stage and understand that followers follow strength and not weakness. Do role plays often with your upcoming leaders to see their level of posture in all the skills.
2) Promotion
Let your company come out with the Big Promotions but as a Leader or upcoming one come up with small promotions. Recognize the small results of your team. Here are a couple of suggestions that I do with my team. 1. Every representative/distributor that enrolls a new member/customer they have a free pizza and they can join the monthly masterminding team session while chilling out with other members. 2. Every representative/distributor that enrolls 3 new members/customers gets the free pizza, a self development book and a team t-shirt. Teach your upcoming leaders to continue these kind of promotions to strengthen both the relationships and team culture.
3) Prospecting
Remember that the only money producing activities in your network marketing business are prospecting, showing the plan, following up, getting customers and training your team. So as a Network Marketing Leader you must never stop prospecting and start to manage your team. The speed of the pack is determined by the speed of the leader. Your team will not do what you say but they do what you do. If you are prospecting your team will prospect too! Do not leave anybody off your list and stay with the process of the system. Leaders keep prospecting and building new teams every time.
4) Proven
You must know the facts about your business. As a leader you must invest time and money to get trained by the top people in your company, hang around the Executives if possible to collect more proven content that will turn out as part of your vision that you can share in your presentations and trainings. Your belief in the company and products or service will increase and not just that, you will inspire people in your team to follow your footsteps. Teach your leaders on how to tell their stories, share the vision and how to teach their team using the same system.
5) Payoff
Accomplishing your goals and dreams! As a Network Marketing Leader all the hard work, sleepless nights, 3am skype calls and countless hours spent in getting trained and build your organization will eventually payoff. You will reach your goals by building people and they will build the business. The satisfaction and feeling to see people from your team getting recognized on stage is the best feeling in the world. That is also a huge thing in our industry… Recognition. People fight in battles but they will kill for recognition. That should be your favourite payoff!
