Are you struggling when you do your Network Marketing Follow Up with your prospects?
In today’s post I will share with you what I do to be able to follow up with prospects without being weird but with posture.
Have you ever showed your product, service and opportunity to someone and they said ‘It is not the right time for me’ or ‘I have to think about it’. You did right? If not you will. So, I wanted to help you out with what I do when I have these objections. You see, it is all about what you ask and how to say it and not the amount of words you say.
It is a cold stone fact that there is money in Follow Up and if you are not doing it you are missing out big time.
Here are Some Powerful Network Marketing Follow Up Facts
Here is Why You Aren’t Following Up
Fear of a No –
Many does this mistake that after they showed them their opportunity first they did not ask them to join and the worst is that their prospect (because they have not been guided) they leave most of the time saying “Ok, I will call you back”. That will never happen! You need to hear a Yes or a No otherwise if they are hesitant before they leave setup an Follow Up appointment. In life we are taught what to do. So you telling them what’s going to happen (Follow Up Meeting) is a key factor.
Trying to be a mind reader –
Instead on focusing on them and their needs by being genuinely interested, one can try and be a mind reader and that leads to get in the begging mode. That won’t work as it is like when dogs smells fear kind of thing. They will leave and will never get your calls back. Do not be weird but be yourself. People join you not what you do.
Don’t know What to Say –
Most of the time people get stuck after there prospects did not say Yes or No and that brings them to not knowing what to say and how to go about it. Company events and dedication on investing in yourself will help you overcome that hurdle. My suggestion to you is this… be honest about it and show your integrity. I will say something like this… “Hey, I know that you loved it and you are hesitant to decide and I completely understand. Here is what we are going to do because I am very busy… let’s setup a follow up meeting today! In 2 days from now at 6pm is it a good time for you to meet up?”. That gives them enough time to come up with a decision in the follow up meeting.
Here is Why You Should Always do Your Network Marketing Follow Ups
90% of the time people join after a follow up –
Not just in home business or network marketing but also in other projects over 90% of the people join after the first exposure. So that gives you enough reason why you should always follow up once up to 3 times with the same prospect (if you see that you can work with them). Some people tend to not digest the information faster than others so lead with the stories not facts.
Reconnect and share updates –
A good way to follow up is first to reconnect and see what changed in their life and also to share cool updates of your opportunity that can lit up the fire in them. A think that I do is that when I am in a company event, I call someone up so on the other side he is hearing all the energy, people having fun and I will setup a follow up meeting after I come back home. Here is a line that I use… “Hey buddy, how are you? Listen we are on a break session in here and it is crazy good. One thing because I am in a rush, we need to catch up this Monday at 6pm there are some updates about the project I shared with you last time that will blow your mind. First cup is on me… got to go cya on Monday!”.
Enhance trust and credibility –
As in this business we are all about people and how we can help them to achieve more in their life, it is a great thing to be interested not interesting. Asking questions will allow you to dig deeper and you will find out how with what you have you can help them and their family. This will install more trust and credibility especially with prospects that you barely knew before and now you can have the chance to work with. So when you do a follow up also focus on the human touch and not to resell them the opportunity. When you’ll be a good listener they will open up and share their struggles and a question that I always use is “How does that make you feel?”.
