Social Media Prospecting Tips

Are you looking for social media prospecting tips?

Well if you aren’t, certainly you are missing out on what it is called ‘The Golden Field’.

Nowadays, everyone is on social media… am I right? It is the platform that connects people in all kind of activity, business, relationships and more. Though many use social media the wrong way. Like everything in life… Social Media is a sword with two sharp edges. You either do it right or do it wrong.

In this post, I am going to teach you some Social Media Prospecting Tips that I use on a daily basis. Like you… I am fed up and super annoyed about people who never talked to me ‘pitching me their opportunity’ or their product in places like Facebook and on Instagram. Certainly, these people need to be educated on how using properly Social Media because it is called Social Media for a reason and not Sellcial Media.

The moment ones really understands this the more one stops being frustrated about not having free leads. You know what… I just pity does who keep posting/spamming their opportunity/product/service on facebook groups, on instagram photos and on any other platform. Why? Because first they are just wasting time and second it does not work. If you are reading this and you did that in the past you are probably nodding yes.

So let me show you what works and first and foremost what worked for me. The moment I implemented these tips that I am going to share with you, I started to grab more attention from new people = new possible leads. One rule is that you have to be patient and consistent.

Here are Social Media Prospecting Eye Openers To Look For

1) Profile picture – Someone smiling is an indication that that person is happy and shows positive signs.

2) Social People – Surrounded with family & friends in their pictures.  You want people of influence and people who love their family & friends.

3) Positive Posts – Do avoid people who post negativity, religious, drama and are disruptive on social media.

4) Active People – Look for people who are active on social media and post at least daily.  If you are connecting with them on social media, you want to make sure they are active.  However, if there is an over abundance of posts, it may not be a person who is out and about around real people.

5) High Quality Posts – Quality content shows people quality. “How you do anything is how you do everything”.

After that you need to start building a relationship with them. Not always the case but giving a compliment is a good kick starter. When you are going to message them (never use a template message and copy paste it) always ask questions about them from what you read on their about or posts and be genuinely interested. From then on there is no time limit how much time needs to pass before you show them what you do if they are qualified.
