In this post I am going to share with you 3 Reasons Why People Quit Your MLM Team and the importance of you knowing these will save you time, energy and less confusion between your ears. Some of you reading this are maybe newbies to the industry or you have been in for a while and started to see that people are quitting from your team and you are wondering how the heck… right?
You are at the right place to discover what the 3 Reasons Why People Quit Your MLM Team as you grow and build leaders to help them reach different levels. In the beginning when I started in Network Marketing, I couldn’t understand why people quit before they even start and as a matter of fact I get this question every time I am on a call, webinar or training. It is a Human Nature thing! It is a habit of a human being to quit things and once I got that into my mind I started to let go of those who quit and focus on those who want it bad as they want to breathe (because of their why).
Truly because of people’s lack of education in this industry especially in certain parts of the world that people follow the cattle of average and the rest is history. The number one reason people join is because of the money and they want to make the money fast. They think that this is a ‘Get Rich Quick thing’ or a ‘Lottery Ticket’ without understanding the fact that this is a real business that one needs to learn certain skills, have determination and persistence to grow from 1 year – 5 years doing the work needed.
3 Reasons Why People Quit Your MLM Team are;
#1 They buy other people’s opinion
So the #1 Reason is that people tend to take advice from unqualified people. What do I mean by that! New people that get into the industry won’t control their excitement and go home or meet up with their friends and start verbally vomiting on how much money are they going to make, how many holidays are going to take etc… Their relatives and friends will tell them either they are crazy, those things won’t work, it’s a scam etc… instead of LISTENING to the people who work in the industry, had experience and success in the industry and are making things happen in the company they joined.
Your relatives or friends act like that because they do not know what they do not know or worse they think they know what they don’t know. That’s why! One need to be smart enough to be coachable when they got started and let their sponsor or leader lead them to grow this business the right way. In fact when someone joins my team, I immediately tell them to not tell anyone unless we sit down for a fast start training session so they learn the basics.
Apart from that Network Marketers understand that people will always be people and they will always buy other people’s opinion. So do not cheer and ring the bells when someone signs up in your team as with one eye you must see them that they quit within the next 14 days and with the other eye that they will become a leader in your team. You will know when you see them plugged into the system of your team and company.
#2 Fear
Some people focus on fear than faith! So another reason why people quit your MLM team is because of FEAR (False Evidence Appear Real)… fear to be successful, fear of losing money, fear of rejection, fear of No’s, fear of growing and also fear of getting uncomfortable.
We grew up with fear as from when we are young our parents installed this No to this and No to that when we were going to do something. So it affects us all the way and this is why people are afraid to change as they still listen to that ‘NO’ inside their head and not following a different path by learning new skills that can lead them to be time and financially free.
Danger is Real, Fear is a Choice!
#2 Lack Of Discipline
Distractions are everywhere… right? When people have lack of discipline towards their actions and growth is another reason why they quit. Discipline is one of the principles of success and if one has got no self discipline to stick around for long enough even when the storm is around the waves will take them away. One aspect is that these people haven’t grasped the vision and have no belief in themselves, their leaders, their product and the company they are with.
I call these people ‘Jumpers’ as they jump from an opportunity to another which will be clear that they never have success in any of those opportunities if they do not focus on being disciplined enough to take their business to the top.
