5 Steps to Be An Authority Online

Have you ever wondered how to become someone that others will start following? An Authority Online in your niche?

In today’s world you have the possibility to become an authority in any of the hobbies or business that you are into. With millions of people always looking for information daily to improve or to solve their problems, one can definitely capitalize on that by offering genuinely great content that will help your audience you are targeting in your niche market.

That is why you need a platform to share what you know and how you can solve/help others. This is why you need a blog. I know that you might have a facebook page, linkedin profile and a twitter account but that is not enough.

What I learned is that all roads should link to your blog. The roads (meaning social media platforms) should connect to your blog which is owned by you and you are in charge of it.

You see content in social media will disappear within less than 30 mins that you have posted. This is why it is so important to have a blog that will help you build a presence online that by time will lead you to be an authority online in your niche using the 5 steps I share with you in here.

#1 Have a Vision

Who do you want to become? How do you want to be known?. Stop focusing on the money you need and instead focus on who you want to become.

The first step is SEEING yourself in a better situation than you are currently in without justifying where you are.

Here are phrases that prevent this very first step (NSS – Non-Serving Statements);

I don’t have the money

What is it that we whine about?

Where you grew up?
A medical condition?
Bad childhood?
Lack of education?
Hatred toward the wealthy?
When someone close to you asks you why you haven’t created the level of success you want, what do you confide in them?

#2 Immerse into Growth

What books are you reading? What audios or podcasts are you listening too? The moment I got involved in self growth was the moment that I increase both knowledge, skill and ability to help others. I have invested over $25,000 in the last few years in books, events and products. If you are not immersing in yourself to a higher level you are just building a limiting wall and won’t find out your true potential. Keep Investing… Keep Growing… Keep Learning!

#3 Create Content

Want to know the Fastest way to become an Authority? The answer is TEACH. People care of receiving value. A lot of people are hoarding notes and not teach others.

To Teach you must first learn
Invest in your Education knowing that it is creating your platform of value.
Blogging is the very best way.

#4 Build & Serve Your Audience

Go where you are celebrated , not tolerated! Build your audience where people is looking for what you offer and serve them.

You must learn how to generate leads daily.
Serve those leads with solutions to their problems.
Engage with them. (Build rapport)

#5 Monetize

Get compensated for your work! There are different ways how to monetize your expertise. For example creating a product that adds value to your audience and also affiliates and join ventures with other people in your niche. So the formula is Invest, Learn, Teach & Profit.
