The Powerful Keys to Have A Contact List in Network Marketing That Will Never End
#1 Collect contacts from Mobile, Skype, LinkedIn, Email, Old Written Contacts… Everything!
Ok so the number 1 step to take in order to have a strong Contact List in Network Marketing is to list down all your contacts from your Mobile, Skype, Linkedin and Old Written Contacts without filtering or judging them.
Most people does this mistake in pre-judging people on who could be good for this and that’s creating that limiting belief in their mind.
#2 Create an electronic list on your smart phone
Create a list on your phone and the reason is that you carry it all of the time.
You can use an app called MLM List Pro which you can purchase from your app store or google play.
Instead of using paper sheets which you can forget at home easily and by time it starts to deteriorate with usage using an electronic list you have the advantage that your list is with you all the time.
#3 Add everyone (relatives, friends, people that you know)… do not decide for them
Never decide for others what is a fit for them or not.
From what I know and experienced is, that some of my team members are people who I thought they are not going to join.
And I had people who I thought that they will join and do great things in my company but they didn’t.
You can ask your upline or top networkers about this and they will tell you the same.
You will never know who is joining because you never know what they are thinking or passing through.
People who you might be judging can be people who are hungry to succeed and those that on paper you see them as successful already will not do much (most of the time).
#4 Track your statistics
The 4th step to take in order to have a strong Contact List in Network Marketing is track who you have called and showed your business opportunity.
Next to their name mark those who you called with C, those who you called again or you called them because you didn’t reach them the first time with C2 and those who joined your organization with J.
So imagine when you have a big list, (like I wish you have) it will be easy to track and to control your contact list which is your asset.
Having control your list is a major key in having success in Network Marketing.
#5 If it wasn’t the right time (contact them in 3 months time)
This step has helped me a lot when I really understood the power of it.
Those people who will tell you NO it means Not Right Now.
It wasn’t the right time for them to join you and it doesn’t mean No forever.
You have to understand that we are bombarded with opportunities every single time especially nowadays so being aware of this you will be emotionally de-attached of the outcome.
Some people in fact they say No by default most of the times because they didn’t understand the first time.
Then you can use an app called Todo which you can easily download from you app store or android play and you can make a note there saying ‘I have to contact Ben in 3 months’.
Then in 3 months this app will show you a pop up on your screen and then you can call Ben to update them on your product/service or business and also some results you have achieved from the last time you connected with them.
That way they will see that it is working and they will also think that you are not like anybody else but you are a network marketing professional.
This is a million dollar tip that I have learned and it is magical.
Every 3 months I follow up with them and if they tell me no again I do another appointment within the next 3 months again.
You will never know when it is the right time to get started especially if you know that this person is smart and have great qualities.
Never quit on following up with them!
If after 8 times they tell you no and they come with non buying reasons then you can stop yes but a great lesson to cherish is that most of the top leaders in network marketing that have a strong character needs to see it more than once before they say yes.
#6 Always increase your list when you go out and eat, traveling, sport, social networks etc…)
Your list should never dry out… always add to it.
Your job as a networker is to always increase your contact list.
When you have like over 12 STRONG LINES (Personal Lineage) you can give your referrals to your downline and that way you are helping them.
A mistake that I see is that some networkers who achieved like a middle rank in their company stop recruiting.
Always you have to do the basics and recruiting new people is one of them.
The basics will give you stability and strong growth.
So recruiting new people and increase you contact list are fundamental.
#7 Do not have Fear but DARE… they will thank you later
Do not be afraid to show your business like many networkers.
Most they fear others people judgement but nowadays the awareness of our industry is increasing with a lot of successful people and companies out there.
These networkers fear in proposing the business to people that can literally change their life.
When I show my business, I am very confident because I have achieved a position that pays me residual income monthly.
So I have strong belief that I can help others earn and generate residual income in their life too.
So I am not shy but very confident and when you dare to propose your business you will see that people will follow you as everything is about energy.
If you have high energy you will see that people will follow you as they will say that this person is not like others they are different.
“Who does not dare does not deserve”.
Same is when you contact your list show confidence and enthusiasm.
#8 If you complete your list, work with the list of your downline
This is a great secret that will help you when you maybe get stuck or pass through this phase.
If you have run out of your contact list what you can do is to dare and work with the list of your downline.
And if they will run out of their contact list go with their downline and do the same again.
It will be impossible to run out of people to contact that way.
On the other hand you will be seen as the expert by contacting your friend’s list and when you meet up it will be a professional setup.
The prospect will see you as an expert sitting along side (their friend) your team member.
So these are the 8 Steps to a Strong Contact List in Network Marketing make a note and re-read them again as these are powerful tips that when applied you will see a different outcome in your organization.
