In these Facebook Recruiting posts, I am sharing with you some insights to either adjust, improve or do to facilitate in attracting more customers or reps towards YOU.
So in this post we are covering ‘Branding’ and how you MUST focus on Branding Yourself and NOT your network marketing company like many are doing or they think they have to do to be able to attract new customers or potential business partners.
This is Part 2 of a 7-part series on Facebook Recruiting:
- Part 1 – Profile Positioning
- Part 2 – [You Are Here] – Branding Yourself
- Part 3 – Targeting Your Ideal Prospects
- Part 4 – Initial Contact
- Part 5 – Building Relationship
- Part 6 – Closing Formula
- Part 7 – Follow Up Process
Let’s continue to the second step here…
Facebook Recruiting: Branding Yourself
By branding yourself online is going to leave a footprint on the internet that you are a person someone wants to follow. I see people bashing out social media posts about their company in a way that everyone know what they are doing instead on creating that mystery or a better word curiosity to attract.
First things first in Branding Yourself for Success
En-Large your Online Pipeline which means that the more you are on using social media platforms to share your content and value the better you are spreading your value to your audience in your niche so you can attract new followers. I focus on 2-4 platforms which are facebook, instagram, periscope & youtube that all have a call to action towards my blog. I call it Gordon’s EcoSystem!
That means that I use social media to drive people towards my blog which is what you need to be doing and facebook is the No.1 platform I prefer as it has been my preferred recruiting platform due to the techniques and branding strategies I will be sharing with you in this 7 Part Series.
Do You Need to Have a Facebook Page?
I suggest that you setup a facebook page for many reasons rather than just using your profile. You have more features to brand yourself plus you can now use Facebook Mentions to share your message with your audience. (For now it works only on IOS)
A great tip I can give you is to add your Facebook Page into your Facebook Profile Account Description. So it is clickable and when they click it goes to your facebook page instead of writing for example “Respresentative of VioletJuice.LLC”.
As you see in the image here, it looks more professional… isn’t it?
3 Important Steps to Follow
Balance Posts from Business to Pleasure:- In your posts + hashtags you should never mention your company name nor you tagging the company. If you are going to an Super Saturday Training mention you are going to an event. Do not just post business, business, business but mix your posts from business to pleasure. The more you balance to more you retain people following you, engage with you with more likes and comments and that’s what you need.
When Posting…
- Be a giver of great value
- Inspirational, Personal & Professional
- Share your journey
Raise Curiosity:- This is the most powerful and important step to focus on. I have recruited many customers and business partners by creating curiosity on my facebook posts.
Stay away from sharing religious, political, conflicts and negative news. I see it all the time and that is not going to help you in your brand.
Share positive, valuable, educational things. My number one Curiosity Creator is MY LIFESTYLE!
Videos uploaded directly on Facebook are also a killer! Do not share your videos you have recorded from youtube on your facebook profile or facebook page as Facebook doesn’t like that. Instead you upload them on your FB page and then you can share them on your fb profile.
Target Market Concerns:- What questions your target market are concerned about? Address those questions as maybe you find good posts somewhere, an article on a magazine etc… People love finding help or see that someone solved their issue or challenge.
You can also post and ask where they need help so instead of looking you will be getting it from them.
Your Marching Orders to Elevate Your Brand on Facebook…
- Be Consistent (1-3 Posts a day)
- Post a Picture along with your post
- Keep it Positive, Inspiring & Funny
- Use 1-3 (#) hashtags
- Reach out to those who liked or commented on your post (More about this on the next part)
Respect Your Company Policies
- Do not mention Income Claims
- Do not mention FREE this or FREE that
- Do not PROMISE anything
Thinking Of Branding YOU?
Are promoting your Network Marketing Company or are you promoting YOU?
You see people join people and not companies.
And because of that you’ve got to start branding yourself.
You are probably scratching your head right now and I completely understand… I was there too!
But I knew I could see more results if I started to work on my personal brand and I want the same results I am having for you too.
If you want to attract more people, stand out from other company reps, increase your visibility that draws you more qualified potential customers and new reps, this might be for you.
