Top Tips for Team Opportunity Meetings before You Start
Plan ahead
First thing to do it to PLAN ahead (like 1-2 weeks) just to make sure the place will be available for the time you will start your team opportunity meetings.
Thursdays are the best days for opportunity meetings and I highly suggest you to strike a deal with the owner or the decision maker that can offer you discount for dinner + drinks after the event.
This will help in creating the culture and helps prospects to see it and a chance for them to ask questions and hear more stories from your team.
If you then move to a bigger location a great tip is to ask the hotel to set a menu for around $20 and do not pay for the room.
Then every time you do an event you can promote that after you are going for dinner. Win Win situation for you and the hotel.
Select a great warm location
Look out for the place you are choosing for your events.
Quality brings quality!
Select a warm place and that is in an area that is accessible for many (car, bus, underground etc…)
Think what your prospects will see at first glance… how amazing the place looks and then everything else follows.
Have tools for validation + team support
Do you have your company tools?
Are you going to use the video presentation or power-point? Who is doing what?
It is important to let your team know the agenda and what is their task in the event.
This helps in running a smooth event and that everyone enjoys the evening.
Use testimonials and if you are starting out make sure you have great internet connection and ask your sponsor/upline to jump in and share their testimonial and vision with your people.
This will make a huge impact in your prospects decision making.
