It is so true and once you get to know how you can start a conversation with an individual, build that quick relationship they will want to know how you can help them.

We are in business to help others solve an issue or to change for the better, so the next time you are going to talk with a new person focus more on them than on you. My motto is ‘Be interested, not interesting’. People love to talk about themselves so you just need to learn what questions to ask.

I want to outline some MLM Tips that will help you in Prospecting Someone You Don’t Know and these are things that I use what I am at a supermarket, in a bar or restaurant and also taking a walk in the countryside.

MLM Tips: How to Prospect Someone You Don’t Know

#1 Compliment & Smile

I love giving compliments and I wasn’t that type of person before but I simply realized that people are not being complimented that much so if I started to compliment people when I saw them by being observant I could possibly make them smile or make their day. So notice something that you can highlight and give a compliment. Sometimes what I do is if they have a pet or kids or an item like T-shirt, necklace etc… it is what I go for to kick start a conversation with that individual. Really sometimes even a smile kick starts a conversation.

#2 Listen Attentively

I believe that this is the most important part to Listen. We live in a world of a lot of noise and by genuinely focusing on listening to what they are saying is an indication for you to qualify the person. Pay attention to his gestures and maintain eye contact and smile. The person in front of you will notice that you are enjoying talking with them.

#3 Ask Questions & Engage

Asking questions that qualifies them to see if they are the right people that can be open to see the information will allow you not wasting your time and move forward. I use the F.O.R.M method all the time as it is what works for me and get me engaged with the people by asking normal but indicative questions to finally asking them if they keep their options open.
