Is Blogging just for businesses?

How I started Blogging…

In 2009, I started venturing into blogging by mistake. I was going to do a brochure website and then I started to educate myself why should I have a blog instead and the journey started…

In 2011, I joined my network marketing company, and learned how important was to “Brand” yourself online especially when more social media platforms where being introduced.

So I set up this self-hosted blog, with Bluehost, and my Blog was created.

How to Set Up Your Blog

I highly suggest to use your name and surname as the website’s name (if it is taken use www.workwith(Your Full Name).com) because you have to create the brand, so you have to be associated with that blog.

In my case, I began this blog:

Identifying who are you willing to attract with your blog is the next thing.

Who is your niche market? Who do you want to attract?

Make sure you are willing to invest in learning and studying the craft of blogging.

The satisfaction is when you will began seeing comments on your blog from all over the world, people that needed to hear your message for their day or for their business or whatever.

I tell people that a “blog can change your life” because it has for me.

About Your Hosting & Blog Theme

Apart from your domain, then you need a hosting platform and a theme.

Yes, you can set up a free blog using WordPress.com, or Blogger.com, but you don’t have complete control over the platform.

They could simply suspend your account if you don’t follow their guidelines exactly and you would lose all your content.

An Ebook can be created with Word document and then turn it into a .pdf file and that is your VALUE to that people can only get it by entering their details (name and email address).

Give out some useful Tips or Secrets that will help people in your niche market. Be Congruent with what you blog about!
